Ancient roots
The Antinori family has been committed to the production of wines since 1385, when it signed up for the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”.
The family has always had a special bond with the Bolgheri area. In 1932, Niccolò Antinori married Carlotta Della Gherardesca.
She received as her dowry the land and farmhouses that would become the “Tenuta Guado al Tasso” Estate.
The genesis of an international reality
The Antinori family, dedicated and determined to advance viticulture in this area, revolutionized the world of enology and Bolgheri has become an international reference point for the production of high quality wine.
Today, the winery is led by Albiera, Allegra and Alessia Antinori.
Their father, Marchese Piero, is the Honorary President.
