Together with her husband Sergio Zenato, a renowned producer in Valpolicella and Lugana, Carla Prospero over the years has often chosen Bolgheri as a holiday destination.
Over time, her desire and her awareness that Bolgheri could become the place to put her family’s winemaking experience to good use, became stronger and stronger.
A dream come true
In 2004 Carla decided to buy a 4-hectare estate along the Via Bolgherese, near the Magazzino area, and founded Podere Prospero: the first harvest released in 2013. Today Carla shares the winery management and her dream with her son Alberto and her daughter Nadia.
